The MD 1's three-stage design with precisely guided flat diaphragms provides outstanding pumping speed even close to the ultimate vacuum, especially when compared with similarly rated two-stage diaphragm pumps. Its ultra-low vibration and long diaphragm lifetime ensure stable performance over years of use. The flow path, constructed from aluminum and selected plastics (PTFE/FKM diaphragms and FKM valves), makes it suitable for a wide range of applications with non-corrosive gases.
